Tower

Resource Type: Image | Posted on 5th May 2011 by Jenny Porter

This is one of the photographs donated to Metal by Dennis Flood, a railway enthusiast (not to be confused with the photographer of the same name). Here you can see an extremely tall tower, presumably belonging to a factory. Two men can be seen be seen at the top, doing some work there. One only hopes they are not frightened of heights! All around the tower, you can see the factory buildings. This photograph appears to have been taken on a foggy day, or perhaps it is simply the smoke emitted by the factory

Looks very close to the station if not part of it. See https://twitter.com/LMRailway/status/847232946800963584 for another view and explanation
