In this postcard, two steam locomotives emerge from a shed: one, on the right, a tender engine, the other, in the middle of the picture, and somewhat further back, a tank engine. On the left, a second tender locomotive enters the shed.

This is a photograph taken at Edge Hill Shed.      The locomotive on the left of the picture is an Ex.LMSR Class 8F,the locomotive in the centre is an Ex.LMSR class 3F `Jinty` and the locomotive to the right is also an Ex.LMSR class 8F.
