Here we see the route taken by the locomotives taking part in the Rainhill Trials re-enactment and the Grand Cavalcade. It shows the locations of Rainhill station (but not Lea Green station, which closed in 1958 and did not reopen until 2000), the stands for spectators, the showground and Sherdley Park (where the gala organised by the Parish Council took place)
