This is the first page of a letter sent by the London Midland Region of British Rail to spectators at Rocket 150. It begins by briefly mentioning the Rainhill Trials, the Liverpool and Manchester Railway, the re-enactment of the Trials and the Grand Cavalcade. The letter then explains that a capacity of 46,000 will be provided, in 22 specially-constructed stands, with temporary roadways to allow for construction of the stands and access for service vehicles
