Resource Type: Image | Posted on 5th May 2011 by Jenny Porter
One of the photographs donated to Metal by Dennis Flood, a railway enthusiast (not to be confused with the photographer of the same name). This photograph appears to show the same train as in the previous picture, now steaming out of the station

This photograph shows a BR Britannia `Pacific` locomotive leaving Edge Hill Station with a Locomotive Club of Great Britain special train. The Edge Hill Station luggage lift buildings can be clearly seen in the left middle of the picture. To the right can be seen wagons stabled in Waterloo Sidings. The roof of the former LMSR fruit and vegetable depot can just be seen above the small building to the right. This building is likely to be a permanent way store. The photographer is not known.
