Edge Hill awaiting redevelopment

This photograph was taken in May 1970, and shows Edge Hill after a lot of it had been demolished, as evidenced by the large empty spaces. Tunnel Road, Harbord Street and Wavertree Road are all visible, with Freemans, in the latter street, clearly indicated. The Catholic Cathedral can also be seen
