This photograph was donated by me but the photographer is not known. It shows an ex.LMSR Class 5 locomotive on the Up Fast Line at Edge Hill Station with a special train.              This photograph was taken before September 1960 as Edge Hill resignalling and line transposition had not yet taken place. The line the special train was on then is now the down slow line today. The line is bi-directional now - which means trains can use it travelling in either direction.
