Hello.
I’m trying to find out the name of the euphonium player. The photo was taken in the 1950’s. He was still with the band in 1970/71/72. When I saw it, it took me back 45 years ( to Shrewsbury bandstand! ) That man was so kind and encouraging. He would never have known the impact, with his playing and manner, that he was to have on me. I’ve been tuba with the BBC Philharmonic for 25 years and although many people influenced me in my life, this man, whose name I have never known played a part. Could you help, please?
